時王上座及比丘僧。以甕香湯洗浴菩提樹。時菩提樹倍復嚴好增長茂盛。以偈頌曰。
Then the king's elder and the assembly of bhikṣus washed the Bodhi tree with urns of fragrant water. At that time, the Bodhi tree became doubly adorned and beautiful, growing lush and luxuriant. In verse it was praised, saying:
