又迦葉經云。佛告迦葉。過去無量阿僧祇劫有佛號妙華。時有輪王。名曰尼彌。如法治世主四天下。爾時大王見二化生童子。得出家已即以太子令紹王位。王與九百九十九子。八萬四千夫人。五千大臣及諸人民。以淨信心俱共出家。爾時太子登位七日。內自思惟。我終不捨薩婆若心。何用王位。作是念已發心出家。於十五日游四天下。說此偈言。

Also, the *Kāśyapa Sūtra* states: The Buddha told Kāśyapa: Countless asaṃkhyeya kalpas in the past, there was a Buddha named Supuṣpa. At that time there was a cakravartin named Nemi, who ruled the world according to Dharma, governing the four continents. At that time the great king saw two apparitionally-born youths, and after they attained renunciation, he immediately ordered the crown prince to succeed to the royal throne. The king, together with his nine hundred and ninety-nine sons, eighty-four thousand consorts, five thousand ministers, and the populace, all went forth into homelessness together with pure, faithful minds. At that time, when the crown prince had occupied the throne for seven days, he reflected within himself: 'I shall never abandon the mind of sarvajña; of what use is the royal throne?' Having thought this, he resolved to go forth into homelessness. On the fifteenth day he travelled through the four continents and spoke these verses:
