44.29

迦葉。時彼童子說此偈時。四天下中無一眾生樂在家者。皆悉發心願求出家。既出家已不須種殖。其地自然生諸糠米。諸樹自然生諸衣服。一切諸天供侍給使。一切眾生皆得道果。

"Kāśyapa, when that youth spoke these verses, not a single sentient being in the four continents took pleasure in household life; they all generated the resolve and aspired to go forth into homelessness. Once they had gone forth, there was no need to cultivate crops: the earth naturally produced husked grain, and the trees naturally produced garments. All the devas attended, served, and ran errands for them, and all sentient beings attained the fruits of the Path."
