智人受諫　愚人拒違　譬同明鏡
影照瑕疵　見過須改　慕在知機
頑戇固執　困厄何依

The wise accept admonition;
The foolish resist and transgress.
It is like a bright mirror
Reflecting flaws and blemishes.
Seeing a fault, one must reform,
Aspiring to discern the impending sign.
Stubborn, senseless, and obstinate,
In distress, upon what can one rely?
