猶如死囚　將詣都市　動向死道
人命如是　如河駛流　往而不返
人命如是　逝者不還

"Just like a condemned prisoner / being led to the marketplace, / with every step heading toward the path of death; / human life is like this. / Like a river's swift current, / flowing onward and not returning; / human life is like this: / those who pass on do not return."
