如增一阿含經云。一偈之中便出生三十七品及諸法義。迦葉問言。何等是。時尊者阿難便說此偈。

As the Ekottarika-āgama states: From within a single verse, the thirty-seven factors of awakening and the meanings of all phenomena are brought forth. Kāśyapa asked, "Which is it?" Then the venerable Ānanda spoke this verse:
