5.43

問曰。語言云何。答曰。世界初成一切皆作聖語。後以飲食時有情不平等故。及諂誑增上故。便有種種語。乃至有不能言者。

Question: What is their speech like? Answer: When the world was first formed, everyone spoke the noble language. Later, because of the inequality among sentient beings at the time of food and drink, and because of the increase of flattery and deception, there came to be various kinds of speech, down to those who cannot speak.
