51.30

爾時彼烏即取其食將與烏王。烏王得已即將與妻。其妻得已尋時飽食。身體安隱如是產生。爾時彼烏日別數往。奪彼食取將與烏王。時梵德王屢見此事。作如是念。奇哉怪異。云何此烏數數常來穢污我食。復以觜（下准）爪傷我婦女。而王不能忍此事故。尋時勅喚網捕獵師。而語之言。卿等急速至彼烏處。生捕將來。其諸獵師聞王勅已。啟白王言。如王所勅不敢違命。獵師往至以其羅網捕得此烏。生捉將來付梵德王。時梵德王語其烏言。汝比何故數污我食。復以觜爪傷我婦女。爾時彼烏語梵德王。善哉大王。聽我向王說如此事令王歡喜。時梵德王心生喜悅。作如是念。希有斯事。云何此烏能作人語。作是念已告彼烏言。善哉善哉。汝必為我說斯事意令我歡喜。爾時彼烏。即以偈頌。向梵德王而說之曰。

At that time, that crow took the food and brought it to the crow king. Having received it, the crow king then brought it to his wife. Having received it, his wife immediately ate her fill, her body became tranquil, and thus she gave birth. At that time, that crow went several times each day, snatched the food, and brought it to the crow king. King Brahmadatta frequently saw this happen and thought: 'How extraordinary and bizarre! Why does this crow constantly come to defile my food and scratch my women with its beak and claws?' The king, unable to tolerate this matter, immediately issued an order to summon the fowlers and hunters, telling them: 'Go quickly to the crow's location and capture it alive to bring back.' Having heard the king's order, the hunters addressed the king, saying: 'As the king commands, we dare not disobey the order.' The hunters went, captured this crow with a net, caught it alive, and brought it to hand over to King Brahmadatta. King Brahmadatta then spoke to the crow, saying: 'Why have you recently defiled my food multiple times and injured my women with your beak and claws?' At that time, the crow said to King Brahmadatta: 'O great king, listen to me explain this matter to the king so as to cause the king joy.' Then King Brahmadatta felt joy in his heart and thought: 'This is a rare thing! How can this crow speak human speech?' Having had this thought, he addressed the crow, saying: 'Excellent, excellent! You must explain the intention of this matter to me so that I will rejoice.' At that time, the crow then spoke in verse to King Brahmadatta, saying:
