時梵德王。既聞彼烏如此語已。心生喜悅。作如是言。希有此事。人尚不能於其主邊有如是等愛重之心如此烏也。作是語已。其梵德王。而說偈言。
At that time, having heard the crow speak such words, King Brahmadatta felt joy in his heart and said: 'This is a rare thing! Even humans cannot have such an affectionate and reverent mind toward their masters as this crow does.' Having spoken these words, King Brahmadatta spoke a verse, saying:
