峨峨王舍城　欝欝靈竹園
中有神化長　巧誘入幽昏
善人慕授福　惡友樂讐怨
善惡昇沈異　薰蕕別路門

Towering is Rājagṛha,
Lush is the sacred Bamboo Grove;
Within it resides the master of spiritual transformation,
Skillfully guiding those plunged into obscurity and darkness.
Good people yearn for the bestowal of blessings;
Evil companions delight in hatred and enmity.
Good and evil differ in ascent and descent;
Sweet herb and foul weed lead to separate gates.
