52.23

無明蔽慧眼　數數生死中
往來多所作　更互為父子
貪著世間樂　不知有勝事
怨數為知識　知識數為怨
是故我方便　莫生憎愛心
若起憎愛心　不能通達法

Ignorance veils the eye of wisdom; / repeatedly in birth and death, / coming and going, much has been done, / alternately becoming father and son. / Coveting worldly pleasures, / they do not know there are superior things. / Enemies repeatedly become companions, / and companions repeatedly become enemies. / Therefore, using skillful means, / do not give rise to minds of hatred or love. / If one gives rise to hatred and love, / one cannot penetrate the Dharma.
