五依老子西昇經云。吾師化游天竺善入泥洹。又符子云。老氏之師名釋迦文佛。
Fifth, according to the Laozi xisheng jing (Laozi's Scripture of Western Ascension), [it says:] 'My teacher traversed and transformed India, and was adept at entering nirvāṇa.' Furthermore, the Fuzi says: 'The master of Master Lao was named Śākyamuni Buddha.'
