十八依智慧本願戒上品經云。日別施散佛僧中食塔寺一錢已上。皆二萬四千報。功多報多。世世賢明翫好不絕。七祖皆得入無量佛國。

18. According to the Upper Grade Scripture on the Precepts of the Fundamental Vow of Wisdom (Zhihui benyuan jie shangpin jing): One who gives each day even a single coin or more toward noon meals for the Buddha and the Saṃgha or to stūpas and temples will receive twenty-four thousand rewards for each; with greater merit comes greater reward; generation after generation they will be virtuous and wise, enjoying delightful things without end, and their ancestors of seven generations will all enter immeasurable Buddha-lands.
