貧窮布施難　豪貴忍辱難
危險持戒難　少壯捨欲難

For the poor and destitute, dāna is difficult; / For the noble and wealthy, forbearance (kṣānti) is difficult. / In mortal danger, upholding the precepts is difficult; / In the prime of youth, abandoning desire is difficult.
