一月之中千過鬪　一鬪百倍得勝他
若能歸信佛世尊　能勝於彼十六分
一月之中千過鬪　一鬪百倍得勝人
若能歸信法正真　能勝於彼十六分
一月之中千過鬪　一鬪百倍得勝他
若能歸信一切僧　能勝於彼十六分
一月之中千過鬪　一鬪百倍得勝人
若能思惟法性空　能勝於彼十六分

"If in one month one fights a thousand times, / and in one fight defeats others a hundredfold,
if one can take refuge and faith in the Buddha, the World-Honoured One, / one surpasses that by a sixteenth part.
If in one month one fights a thousand times, / and in one fight defeats men a hundredfold,
if one can take refuge and faith in the true Dharma, / one surpasses that by a sixteenth part.
If in one month one fights a thousand times, / and in one fight defeats others a hundredfold,
if one can take refuge and faith in the entire Saṃgha, / one surpasses that by a sixteenth part.
If in one month one fights a thousand times, / and in one fight defeats men a hundredfold,
if one can contemplate the emptiness of the nature of dharmas, / one surpasses that by a sixteenth part."
