58.17

眾生老病死　沈沒愛流海
處在三界獄　眾苦受結縛
飲血毒相害　無始被燒煮
癡盲失善道　不能見正路
生死愚暗重　皆由著邪見
旋迴五道中　譬如車輪轉

Sentient beings, through old age, sickness, and death,
Sink into the oceanic stream of craving;
Dwelling in the prison of the three realms,
Bound fast by myriad sufferings,
Drinking poison-blood and harming one another,
Since beginningless time they have been burned and boiled.
Blind with delusion, they lose the wholesome path
And cannot see the correct way.
Heavy is the foolish darkness of birth and death,
All arising from attachment to wrong views;
Revolving through the five destinies,
Just like the turning of a cart-wheel.
