58.21

爾時六十菩薩既聞此已。捫淚恐怖毛竪。而作是言。我等從今若生瞋恚過失而更造業障。我等今日於世尊前皆悉懺悔。於世尊所立大誓願。於一切所不起諸過。爾時世尊讚彼六十菩薩言。汝等發覺善作是願。當盡一切業障。當得善根淨。爾時世尊。而說偈言。

At that time, when the sixty bodhisattvas heard this, they wiped away their tears in terror, their hair standing on end, and spoke these words: "From this day forward, if we should give rise to the fault of anger and again create karmic hindrances, we now fully repent all of it before the World-Honoured One! In the presence of the World-Honoured One, we make this great vow: toward all beings and situations, we will not give rise to any faults." At that time, the World-Honoured One praised those sixty bodhisattvas, saying: "It is excellent that you have awakened and made such a vow! You will exhaust all karmic hindrances and attain purity of wholesome roots." At that time, the World-Honoured One spoke a verse:
