惟斯上哲　濫被謀枉　清濁難分
善人惡網　幽顯冥知　真偽鑒朗
自觀業對　如空影響

Even this supreme sage / Was wrongfully entangled in calumny and injustice. / The pure and turbid are hard to distinguish; / Good people fall into evil nets. / The unseen and the manifest know in secret; / The true and the false are clearly mirrored. / One sees one's own karmic retributions / Like echoes and shadows in empty space.
