依正法念經云。餓鬼大數有三十六種。行因不等。受報各別。

According to the *Saddharmasmṛtyupasthāna-sūtra*, the general count of hungry ghosts comprises thirty-six types; their causal practices are unequal, and the retributions they receive are distinct.
