6.65

如婆沙論說。有威德者。便有宮宅七寶莊嚴。一切山河諸神悉有舍宅。依之而住。無威德者。如浮游浪鬼。飢渴之徒悉無舍宅。權依塚墓。暫止叢林。草木巖穴。是其居處。

As the *Mahāvibhāṣā* says: Those with mighty virtue have palaces and residences adorned with the seven treasures; all the spirits of mountains and rivers have dwellings upon which they rely to abide. Those without mighty virtue, like drifting and wandering ghosts, a starving and thirsty horde, have no residences at all; they temporarily lodge at graves and tombs, or briefly halt in thickets and groves, with grasses, trees, and rock caverns serving as their dwellings.
