沈痾誠已久　痼病實難痊
四魔恒相嬈　六賊競來牽
困厄無人救　惟忻大慈憐
遙愍愚心網　振錫遠乘煙
授茲甘露藥　邪道莫能先
消災除業累　拔濟苦相煎
恩流振玄教　並利該大千
自非神呪力　何能益延年

Deep-seated afflictions indeed have lasted long; / Chronic diseases are truly difficult to heal.
The four Māras constantly harass; / The six thieves vie to drag one away.
In distress and misery, there is no one to rescue; / One rejoices only in the Great Compassionate One’s pity.
Pitying from afar the foolish mind’s web, / Shaking his monk’s staff, he rides the distant mist.
He confers this amṛta medicine, / Which no heterodox path can surpass.
Dispersing calamities, removing the burden of karma, / He delivers from the torment of suffering.
His grace flows forth to revive the profound teaching, / Bringing benefit that covers the great chiliocosm.
Were it not for the power of divine spells, / How could life be prolonged and increased?
