60.22

誦此呪三遍。縷五色結作二結繫項。此陀羅尼。四十二億諸佛所說。若諸行人能書寫讀誦此呪者。現世當為千佛所護。此人命終以後不墮惡道。當生兜率天上面覩彌勒。又有眾生能修行此呪者。斷食七日純服牛乳。中時一食更無雜食。一日夜六時懺悔。先所作億千姟劫所有重罪。一時都盡。得見千佛手摩其頭即與授記。宿罪殃惡悉滅無餘。

Recite this mantra three times, take five-colored threads, tie them into two knots, and fasten them around the neck. This dhāraṇī was spoken by forty-two hundred million Buddhas. If practitioners can copy, read, and recite this mantra, they will be protected by a thousand Buddhas in the present life. After this person's life ends, they will not fall into the evil destinies; they will be born in the Tuṣita Heaven and behold Maitreya face to face. Furthermore, if there are sentient beings who can cultivate this mantra, fasting for seven days and consuming only cow's milk, taking a single meal at midday with no other mixed food, and performing deśanā six times during the day and night: all the grave transgressions previously committed across billions of kalpas will be completely exhausted at once. They will attain to see a thousand Buddhas stroking their heads with their hands and conferring upon them vyākaraṇa, and their past offenses, disasters, and evils will all be destroyed without remainder.
