60.37

佛言。若四部弟子受持觀世音菩薩名。誦此神呪一遍至七七遍。身心安隱。一切業障如火燒薪永盡無餘。乃至三毒亦得消伏。如經廣說。

The Buddha said: "If disciples of the four assemblies uphold the name of the bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara and recite this divine dhāraṇī once up to seven times seven times, their bodies and minds will become peaceful and secure; all karmic obscurations will, like firewood consumed by fire, be extinguished forever without remainder; and even the three poisons will also be eliminated and subdued, as extensively explained in the sūtra."
