60.61

天王當知。此大神呪能令一切人非人等皆得安樂。此大神呪三世諸佛為護正法。及護一切人非人等令得安樂。以方便力而當說之。是故天王及人王等。為護正法久住世故。自身眷屬得安樂故。國土有情無災難故。各應精勤至誠誦念。如是則令怨敵災難魔事法障皆悉銷滅。由斯正法久住世間。與諸有情作大饒益。云云。

"Deva King, you should know that this great divine mantra can cause all humans, non-humans, and others to attain peace and happiness. This great divine mantra was spoken through the power of expedient means by all buddhas of the three periods of time to protect the True Dharma, and to protect all humans, non-humans, and others, causing them to attain peace and happiness. For this reason, deva kings, human kings, and the like, in order to protect the True Dharma so that it abides long in the world, in order that they themselves and their retinues may attain peace and happiness, and in order that the sentient beings in their lands may be free from disasters and calamities, should each diligently and with utmost sincerity recite it. If they do so, enemies, disasters, calamities, māra-affairs, and obstacles to the Dharma will all be eradicated. Thereby, the True Dharma will abide long in the world and bring great benefit to sentient beings." And so forth.
