60.69

此下三呪。西京興善寺大唐翻經僧玄摸法師。於波頗三藏及餘大德婆羅門所。口決正得。諸經先無正本。舊依婆羅門所翻得。為文訛略不依正梵。故更譯之。雖有增減不勞致惑。

The three mantras below were orally obtained directly by Master Xuanmo, a translation monk of the Great Tang from Xingshan Temple in the Western Capital, from the Tripiṭaka Master Prabhā[karamitra] and other venerable brāhmaṇas. Formerly there was no authentic text in the scriptures; it had previously been obtained through translations from brāhmaṇas, but because the text was corrupt and abbreviated, and did not follow authentic Sanskrit, it was translated again. Although there are additions and omissions, one need not be perplexed.
