峨峨齊山。誕自幽冥。潛瑞幾昔。帝號乃明。岑載聖宇。兆祚休名。巒根雲坦。峯岳霞平。規巖擬剎。度嶺締經。創工之日。龍飛紫廷。道侔二儀。四海均情。終天之祚。岳德表靈。

"Towering is Mount Qi, / born from the mysterious dark. / How many ages have its hidden omens lingered, / until the imperial title shone forth! / The crest bears the sacred abode, / presaging fortune and an auspicious name. / The base of the crags is level with the clouds, / the peaks and summits are even with the rosy haze. / Aligning with the cliff, the stūpa was designed; / surveying the ridge, the boundaries were laid. / On the day the work was begun, / the dragon flew in the purple court. / Its Dao equals Heaven and Earth; / within the four seas, all hearts are one. / The fortune of eternal heaven, / the virtue of the peak displays its spirit."
