爾時化弟諮其兄言。世間乃有不下種子不得果耶。兄答弟言。實爾不種無果。時彼天神還復本形。即說偈言。

At that time, the transformed brother inquired of his elder brother: 'Is it indeed the case in the world that without sowing seeds, one gets no fruit?' The elder brother answered the younger brother: 'It is truly so; without sowing, there is no fruit.' Then that deva resumed his original form and immediately spoke a verse:
