第三是十業道復有三種。謂上中下。或方便上。根本中。成已下。或方便中。根本上。成已下。或方便下。根本上。成已中（綺互作八准前可知）。

Third, these ten courses of karma further have three grades: superior, middling, and inferior. Either the preliminary preparation is superior, the fundamental action is middling, and the completion is inferior; or the preliminary preparation is middling, the fundamental action is superior, and the completion is inferior; or the preliminary preparation is inferior, the fundamental action is superior, and the completion is middling (permuting these to make eight can be known by reference to the preceding).
