問曰。何名惡法相應者。答曰。謂一切戲語非法歌舞等。一切與不善法相應者。皆是綺語。作不作無作相者。如前殺生中說（此下貪瞋邪見其文易解不煩釋之）。

Question: What is meant by being associated with unwholesome phenomena? Answer: It refers to all jesting words, illicit songs and dances, and so forth; all that is associated with unwholesome phenomena is frivolous speech. The characteristics of action, inaction, and non-action are as explained above under taking life (below this, covetousness, anger, and wrong views are easy to understand in text and need not be elaborated).
