68.83

菩薩復有四事法。不為他人所別離。何等為四。一不傳應說鬪亂彼此。二導愚癡者使入佛道。三若有毀敗正法護使不絕。四勸勉諸人教使求佛令堅不動。

"A bodhisattva further has four practices not to be separated by others. What are the four? First, not repeating things that should be spoken only to stir up strife between parties. Second, guiding foolish people to enter the Buddha Path. Third, if the true Dharma is ruined and damaged, protecting it so that it is not discontinued. Fourth, encouraging and exhorting people, teaching them to seek the Buddha, causing them to be steadfast and unshakeable."
