復何因緣名奔荼梨迦地獄。此諸眾生地獄之中。猛火焰色如奔荼梨迦華。是故名為奔荼梨迦地獄。

Furthermore, for what cause and reason is it called the Puṇḍarīka hell? In the hell of these sentient beings, the colour of the fierce flames is like the puṇḍarīka flower. Therefore, it is called the Puṇḍarīka hell.
