72.17

又化生金翅鳥王欲取卵生龍。即向樹東海中取之。若欲取胎生龍者。向樹南海中取之。若欲取濕生龍者。即向樹西海中取之。若欲取化生龍者。即向樹北海中取之。水開一千六百由旬。彼諸龍等皆為此金翅鳥王之所食噉。

Furthermore, when a transformation-born garuḍa king desires to capture an egg-born dragon, he heads to the sea east of the tree to capture it. If he desires to capture a womb-born dragon, he heads to the sea south of the tree to capture it. If he desires to capture a moisture-born dragon, he heads to the sea west of the tree to capture it. If he desires to capture a transformation-born dragon, he heads to the sea north of the tree to capture it; the waters part by one thousand six hundred yojanas. All of those dragons are devoured by this garuḍa king.
