如地持論云。菩薩生有五種。住一切行。安樂一切眾生。一息苦生。二隨類生。三勝生。四增上生。五最後生。

As the Bodhisattvabhūmi states: A bodhisattva has five kinds of rebirth, abiding in all practices and bringing ease and joy to all sentient beings: 1. rebirth to quell suffering; 2. rebirth adapting to categories [of beings]; 3. superior rebirth; 4. sovereign rebirth; 5. final rebirth.
