常為慳所使　不肯自衣食
以五錢酒[麩-夫+少]著鹽而飲之
飲已即大醉　戲笑而歌舞
輕罵我諸天　以是因緣故
我故苦惱之

“Constantly driven by stinginess, / he refused to clothe or feed himself. / With five coins he bought ale and roasted flour, added salt, and drank it; / having drunk it, he became utterly drunk, / jested, laughed, sang, and danced, / and reviled me and the gods. / For this reason / I deliberately distressed him.”
