第三會說經。有八萬比丘皆得阿羅漢（長阿含經云。毘婆尸佛初會弟子有十六萬八千人。二會弟子有十萬人。三會弟子有三十六萬八千人）。

in the third assembly of preaching the sūtras, eighty thousand bhikṣus all attained arhatship. (The *Dīrghāgama* says: in the first assembly of Vipaśyin Buddha, the disciples were one hundred and sixty-eight thousand; in the second assembly, the disciples were one hundred thousand; in the third assembly, the disciples were three hundred and sixty-eight thousand.)
