8.77

時雪山中有婆羅門。名牢度跋提。白夜叉言。唯願大師為我說法。我今不惜心之與血。即脫單衣敷為高座。即請夜叉令就此座。時大夜叉。即說偈言。

At that time, in the Snowy Mountains there was a brahman named Raudrabhadra, who said to the yakṣa, 'I only pray that the great master will teach me the Dharma; I now do not begrudge heart or blood.' He immediately took off his unlined robe, spread it out as a high seat, and invited the yakṣa to take this seat. The great yakṣa then spoke a verse:
