敬尋。白淨所承出自懿師摩王。聖輪相纂億葉重暉。所以釋迦權應示現降生。託迹既顯苗裔遂彰。故應迦毘丈六金容。現三十二相之儀。統領三千大千之化。愍彼四流之漂。運斯六度之舟也。

I respectfully observe that what [King] Śuddhodana inherited stems from King Ikṣvāku. Sacred wheel-turners succeeded one another, their brilliance repeated over myriads of generations. Therefore Śākyamuni expediently responded and manifested descent and birth; once his trace was manifested, his lineage became celebrated. Thus, responding in Kapilavastu with a sixteen-foot golden form, he displayed the decorum of the thirty-two marks and governed the transformation of the trichiliocosm, taking pity on those swept along by the four currents and operating this boat of the six perfections.
