青草用繫手　猶如鸚鵡翅
又如祠天羊　不動亦不搖
雖知處危難　默住不傷草
如林為火焚　犛牛為尾死

"Green grass is used to bind their hands, / like parrot wings; / also like sheep for sacrifice to devas, / they neither move nor stir. / Although knowing they are in peril and difficulty, / they remain silent and do not harm the grass; / like a forest consumed by fire, / or a yak dying for the sake of its tail."
