善哉能堅持　釋師子所說
寧捨己身命　護法不毀犯
我今亦歸命　如是顯大法
歸依離熱惱　牟尼解脫尊
堅持禁戒者　我今亦歸命

"Excellent! You are able to firmly maintain / what was taught by the Lion of the Śākyas, / rather giving up your own body and life / to protect the Dharma without violating it. / I now also take refuge / in the great Dharma manifested like this; / I take refuge in the liberated Muni, / who is free from feverish afflictions; / and in those who firmly maintain the prohibitive precepts, / I now also take refuge!"
