成論云。行慈心者。臥安覺安。不見惡夢。天護人愛。不毒不兵。水火不喪。
The Tattvasiddhi-śāstra says: 'One who practices a mind of benevolence sleeps in peace and awakens in peace; they see no bad dreams; gods protect them and humans love them; poison does not affect them and weapons do not harm them; fire and water do not destroy them.'
