83.26

是食甘露者　其身得安隱
不當復持歸　遍及其妻子
如何墮泥中　自污其身體
如是為無黠　毀其甘露味
又如此華者　不宜久住中
日沒華還合　求出則不能
當須日光明　爾乃復得出
長夜之疲冥　如是甚勤苦

"You who feed on sweet nectar,
Your body attains peace and ease.
Should you not bring it back
To share with your wife and children?
Why fall into the mud,
Defiling your own body?
To act like this is without wisdom,
Ruining its taste of sweet nectar.
Furthermore, in such a flower,
It is not fit to stay for long.
When the sun sets, the flower closes again;
Should you seek to escape, you will not be able to.
You must wait for the sunlight
Before you can emerge once more.
The weariness and darkness of the long night—
Such is exceedingly bitter and painful."
