83.33

如月燈三昧經云。佛言。若有菩薩能行精進。有十種利益。何等為十。一他不折伏。二得佛所攝。三為非人所護。四聞法不忘。五未聞能聞。六增長辯才。七得三昧性。八少病少惱。九隨所得食食已能消。十如憂鉢羅華不同於朽。

As the Candrapradīpa-samādhi-sūtra states: The Buddha said: If there is a bodhisattva who can practice vigor, they will obtain ten kinds of benefit. What are the ten? First, they are not overcome by others. Second, they are embraced by the Buddhas. Third, they are protected by non-humans. Fourth, having heard the Dharma, they do not forget it. Fifth, what they have not yet heard, they are able to hear. Sixth, they increase their eloquence. Seventh, they attain the nature of samādhi. Eighth, they have few sicknesses and few afflictions. Ninth, whatever food they obtain, once eaten, they can digest it. Tenth, like the utpala flower, they do not decay.
