86.15

欲味及欲過　何者為最多
我以慚愧䩙　捉持智慧秤
思量如此事　心已得通達
不見其有利　鈍者欲衰患
以是故我今　宜應捨離欲
往詣於僧坊　復還求出家

“Between the flavor of desire and the fault of desire,
Which one is the greater?
Using the straps of shame and remorse,
I hold the steelyard of wisdom.
Having weighed such a matter,
My mind has now attained understanding.
I see no benefit in it;
Only the dull-witted desire its afflictions.
For this reason, I now
Ought to abandon and separate from desire,
Go to the monastery,
And once again seek to go forth into homelessness.”
