如諸聖人常遠離酒。酒是放逸處。我今一日一夜遠離於酒。以如是法隨學聖人。

Just as all noble ones constantly keep far away from alcohol, alcohol being the basis of heedlessness; so I now for one day and one night keep far away from alcohol; by means of such a dharma emulating the noble ones.
