大慈振法鼓　開寤無明聾
鑪冶心穢垢　防非如利鋒
護鵝不惜命　守草養生同
五篇遮輕重　七聚蕩心胸
晨朝宣寶偈　夕夜虔誠恭
近未出苦海　遠念法身蹤
七支淨三業　五分滿金容
各願堅固戒　淨土得相逢

Great compassion shakes the Dharma drum, / awakening those deafened by ignorance. / Smelting the heart's defilements and impurities, / guarding against faults like a sharp blade. / Protecting the goose, not begrudging one's life; / guarding the grass, holding life equal to one's own. / The five categories bar light and grave offenses; / the seven gatherings cleanse the heart and breast. / In the morning, proclaiming the precious verses; / at night, reverent, sincere, and respectful. / In the short term, not yet having crossed the sea of suffering, / in the long term, mindful of the footprints of the Dharma-body. / The seven branches purify the three karmas; / the five parts fulfill the golden countenance. / May each person uphold the firm precepts, / and meet one another in the pure land!
