89.73

若以惡心自謗三寶。詐現親附。口偽說空。行在有中。若見外道一切惡人劫賊。賣佛菩薩父母形像。販賣經律。販賣僧尼。而菩薩見是事已。方便教化贖之。若不贖者。犯輕垢罪。

‘If with an evil mind you yourself slander the Three Jewels, falsely display closeness to them, deceitfully proclaim emptiness with your mouth while your conduct abides in existence; or if you see non-Buddhists, evil people, or bandits selling images of the Buddha, bodhisattvas, or parents, trafficking in sūtras and vinaya, or trafficking in monks and nuns, and the bodhisattva, having seen these things, does not apply skillful means to instruct and transform them and ransom them—if you do not ransom them, you commit an offense of minor defilement.’
