又大集經云。破戒人者。一切十方無量諸佛所不護念。雖名比丘不在僧數。何以故。入魔界故。我都不聽毀戒之人受人信施如葶藶子。何以故。是人遠離如來法故。又正法念經偈云。
Furthermore, the Mahāsaṃnipāta-sūtra states: "A person who breaks the precepts is not protected or remembered by all the immeasurable Buddhas of the ten directions. Although called a bhikṣu, he is not counted among the Saṃgha. Why is this? Because he has entered the realm of Māra. I do not permit a person who violates the precepts to receive the faithful offerings of others even to the amount of a mustard seed. Why is this? Because this person has departed far from the Tathāgata's Dharma." Furthermore, a verse from the Saddharmasmṛtyupasthāna-sūtra states:
