Now, the five aggregates are empty and false; the four great elements are fleeting and precarious. Receiving this counterfeit constitution is identical to an adorned vase; being affected with this foul form is again like a vessel [full of refuse]. Inside and outside there is no reality; whatever is encountered brings defilement. Moreover, the foul constitution of Jambudvīpa fills the body with impurities; people constantly consume wine and meat, and constantly eat pungent roots. The foul stench rushes upward, causing the robes of the devas to split. Good spirits abandon protection, and evil ghosts mutually invade. Even ordinary monks and nuns do not take pleasure in approaching; how much more will the noble and wise stay far away! In addition, the eight sufferings press and torment, and the nine untimely deaths cut short one's years. Mind-moment after mind-moment is in shifting flux; thought after thought arises and perishes. In vain one defiles the six senses, and in the end falls into the three evil destinies. May each person cultivate the body and purify their mind and mouth!
