94.31

如僧祇律云。若在禪坊中啑者。不得放恣大啑。若啑來時。當忍以手掩鼻。若不可忍者。應手遮鼻而啑。勿洟唾污比座。若上座啑者。應言和南。下座啑默然。

As stated in the Mahāsāṃghika Vinaya: "If one sneezes in a meditation hall, one must not sneeze loudly with abandon. When a sneeze comes, one should restrain it and cover the nose with a hand. If it cannot be restrained, one should cover the nose with a hand and sneeze, not allowing nasal mucus or spittle to soil neighboring seats. If a senior monk sneezes, one should say, 'Vandana.' If a junior monk sneezes, one remains silent."
