又佛說除災患經云。佛告阿難。乃前過世迦葉佛時。人壽二萬歲。佛事終竟復捨壽命。

Furthermore, the Sūtra Spoken by the Buddha on Eliminating Disasters and Afflictions states: The Buddha told Ānanda: In the distant past, during the time of Kāśyapa Buddha, human life span was twenty thousand years. When his Buddha-activities were brought to completion, he relinquished his life span.
